The Ministry of Health reported the fifth case of death caused by pandemic flu. The patient aged 55 died in the intensive therapy section of Orhei District Hospital, after he was diagnosed with bilateral bronhopneumonia. A number of 555 pandemic flu cases of the 1,141 suspect ones have been confirmed during May 21 – November 12. Five persons have died. A 50-year-old man died in the Chisinau Municipal Hospital No. 1, a man aged 35 - in Drochia District Hospital, while a man aged 46 and then a 53-year-old woman – in the hospital in Ceadar-Lunga. The fifth patient died in Orhei District Hospital. The persons who have been in contact with the patients are under the supervision of the doctors.
