One Moldovan killed, nine injured in new road accident in Ukraine

A Moldovan died, while another nine Moldovans were hurt in a traffic accident in Ukraine. This is the second road accident that happened in Ukraine in the last several weeks. In a March 30 accident, five Moldovans died and 11 were injured, IPN reports.

The Civic Protection and Emergencies Service said it was informed about the accident by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the evening of April 23. The accident occurred on the Kiev-Odessa road, near the Ukrainian settlement Ivanovca, at about 5pm.

The minibus with ten persons on board - all Moldovans - crashed into a truck. The minibus driver was killed, while the other nine persons were admitted to the Liubeshov hospital with different injuries.

It is known that the passengers are from Ceadir-Lunga, Comrat and Taraclia and are aged between 24 and 71.
