A person was killed and another two, among whom a child, were seriously hurt and rushed to the hospital after a car entered a bus station on Zelinski St in Chisinau on June 12.

Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said the car was driven by a man aged 22. He was accompanied to the police station for questioning. Measures will be later taken depending on the results of the questioning.

The police team that travelled to the scene established that a 55-year-old man was killed. A woman aged 36 and her two-year-old child were injured. These were taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

Legal action was taken and an investigation is under way to determine all the circumstances of the accident.
