A person died and seven others were seriously hurt after a minibus with a Moldovan license plate turned upside down in Romania. According to the Romanian press, the accident happened near Comarna-Osoi commune of Iasi county on the afternoon of October 11, IPN reports.

According to the newspaper “Ziarul de Iasi”, the minibuses overturned after getting into a ditch. The road section where the accident occurred is not rehabilitated. The roadway is like glass, especially because of moisture. After a right turn, the driver lost control of the vehicle and this left the road. The minibus turned upside down in a field.

The police are examining the scattered luggage to determine the identity of those who were taken to the hospital.
