One fourth of tickets to summer camps will be allotted to children from socially vulnerable families
One fourth of the tickets to summer camps will be distributed free of charge to children from families that benefit from social assistance from the state. The decision was published in the Official Gazette on May 12, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The free tickets will be offered to orphans, children from one-parent and disfavored families, children from families with three children and more, children put under tutelage/guardianship, children from family-type homes and temporary placement centers, children whose both parents are disabled or pensioners and children that achieved good results at schools or at didactic and non-didactic Olympiads.
Under the Government Decision, the rest of the tickets will be sold for 10-20% of the price. The highest price will be calculated depending on the length of the stay in summer camps.
The maximum cost of a day in summer camps will be 100 lei, in specialized science, arts or sports camps – 105 lei, while in day camps – 71 lei.
The price of tickets to summer camps will be fixed by the authorities of the territorial-administrative units. The funding will be allocated from the state budget and the budgets of the territorial-administrative unit. The sums paid by the parents and the special means provided by companies will be also used to finance the activity of summer camps.
