One day of strict fasting as a contribution to developing early intervention center

During Lent, as usual, CCF/HHC Moldova is staging the social campaign Purpose of Lent. By this campaign, the people are challenged to keep strict fasting one day and to donate the equivalent value of the meals for this day for a noble cause, this year for developing an early intervention center in Balti town, IPN reports.

CCF/HHC Moldova aims to open, thanks to the generosity of people, a new service for the early detection of children’s health problems. The center will enable to early identify health problems and disability in children of an early age so as to involve them in rehabilitation programs and develop more abilities for easier social inclusion. The parents will be emotionally supported and taught how to act to help their children.

Donations are made electronically, to a virtual restaurant. Accessing the platform www.rostulpostului.md, those who want will order what they like from a virtual menu and will donate the equivalent value of the food for the future early intervention center.

CCF Moldova (Child, Community, Family) aims to make this campaign a tradition in all the fasting periods of the year, but especially during the longest and most important one, which precedes Easter. This year, as last year, the campaign starts on the first week of Lent and will end on April 8, when it is celebrated Easter.

An estimated €15,000 is needed to develop the new service in Balti.
