At the border with Ukraine, a single crossing checkpoint at Cismichioi/Dolinskoe remains closed for the same reason – blocked roads on the Ukrainian side, the Moldovan Border Police reported this morning.

There has been an increase in vehicles and people crossing the border lately, especially in terms of departures. During 24 hours, 30,000 people crossed the border, including 18,000 people who exited the country.

Heavy snowfall at the end of December led to the closure of 10 border crossings, 23 at the border with Romania and 8 at the border with Ukraine.
