The Government has accepted at a sitting held on Wednesday, June 3, to appoint Nicolae Chirtoaca, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Moldova to USA, as Ambassador to Canada, with the headquarters in Washington. In this way, Nicolae Chirtoaca will hold four offices of ambassador and two offices of standing representative to the most important international financial organisations. At the beginning of May, the Government has appointed Chirtoaca as standing representative to World Bank and International Monetary Fund and Ambassador of Moldova to Brazil and Mexico. The proposal was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the draft decree has to be sent to the president of Moldova for signing. Nicolae Chirtoaca was appointed to the office of Ambassador of Moldova to USA in August. Previously he was known as political analyst, being also the director of the Invisible College of Moldova and director of the European Institute of Political Studies.
