The residents and guests of the capital city will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the deputy mayors of Chisinau municipality on Europe Day that is marked on May 9. In the Great National Assembly Square, a tent of the Chisinau City Hall with all the projects financed by the European Union will be put up, deputy mayor Ilie Ceban announced, being quoted by IPN.
Ilie Ceban said that all the deputy mayors will be present, who will talk to the citizens and inform them about ongoing projects and future plans. The large-scale project to rehabilitate the Byk River, which is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, will also be presented.
On Europe Day, the citizens could also talk with members of the Cabinet in the central square of Chisinau. Eighteen EU Member States and 30 EU-funded projects providing assistance in various fields will inform the visitors about the activities carried out and who are or can become concrete beneficiaries of this assistance. In the evening, the public is invited to an exceptional concert featuring, in premiere, the Ambassador of the European Union to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks, together with Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici & Orchestra, LUPII lui Calancea, KALUSH Orchestra from Ukraine, Eurovision 2022 winners, and others.
