The presidential family brought presents to the family, including an oven, a TV set, a fridge, bed linen, clothes, schoolbags with supplies and food products, IPN reports.

“On this day of separate personal significance, I and my wife and sons decided to do an act of benevolence and to bring a ray of light to the Zaharia family from Rascova village of Criuleni district. Together we visited this family that raises nine children aged between three and 19 in difficult conditions. The house in which they live is in a deplorable state. In winter the whole family lives in one room and the home is heated by an improvised stove. Despite these difficulties, the children are neat and educated,” it is said in a press release of the presidential press service.

“My youngest son Nicusor brought a part of his toys to the children. My middle son Bogdan donated them his laptop, while my eldest son Vlad gave them a football. We also decided to purchase a home for them by Easter, with the support of the Charity Foundation “Form the Heart,” said the President.

On Friary 18, President Igor Dodon celebrated his birthday. He turned 43.
