Around 10:00, the Chisinau center was filled only by traders that presented their products. According to the head of the Commerce, alimentation and services department, Vladimir Nirca, 160 economic agents have acquired authorizations to sell food and drinks on Chisinau annual fete. Merchants declared for the Info-Prim Neo reporter that fewer products are sold due to the lack of traditional expositions realized by different economic agents. Traders hope to sell only in the evening. While merchants were waiting for their clients, and in the Great National Assembly Square horses were ridden by policemen, disguised as Stefan’s soldiers, which demonstrated their fighting potential to the country’s Government, in the Stefan cel Mare Public Garden, in the vicinity of the Great Mihai Eminescu monument, the Poetry Day was held. Several poets recited their poems about love, autumn, life at whole, and were barely heard by the audience due to the great noise that came from the Great National Assembly Square. On the park’s alleys children from various study institutions presented their craftsmanship works, a fact that interested many pedestrians.
