A high-rank officer of the Chisinau police, Vasile Ivas, has told Info-Prim Neo the death of ombudsman Ivan Cucu is preliminarily searched as a case of suicide. The police officer says the ombudsman have fired from his own gun. The police were notified at 12.30. So far, they avoid to disclose details as to the circumstances and the reason of the alleged suicide. An Emergency Service staffer, Silvia Babara, says Ivan Cucu shot himself in the chest. The body was found near the door, as there were blood tracks from the table to the door. The ombudsman seems to have crawled. The police are searching the case.
