Oleg Ryabchuk was named the footballer of the year in Moldova for the third year in a row. The fullback of Olympiacos outstripped Vadim Rață and Ion Nicolaescu, IPN reports.

Dumitru Chelyadnik was named the best goalkeeper, Stjepan Radeljic – the best fullback, Alexandru Dedov – the best halfback, Rasheed Akanbi – the best striker, three players being from Sheriff and one player from Zimbru.

Lilian Popescu became the best coach. The Zimbru coach was followed by Sergiu Kleshchenko and Ștefan Stoica in the rankings.

Iuliana Colnic of CS Noroc Nimoreni was named the female footballer of the year.
