An 85-year-old woman died in the hospital this morning, several hours after she fell from the third floor of an apartment building situated on Zelinski St in Chisinau. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance was called after midnight. The old woman suffered serious traumas and bone fractures. She was taken to the Emergency Hospital and died there in several hours. The circumstances of the incident are not yet know. Neighbors say the woman went up the window to water the flowers and slipped. A suicide attempt is not excluded. A man aged 63 fell from the attic of his villa, from a height of about three meters. He was admitted to the hospital with a leg fracture. A 46-year-old woman living on Ion Creang St cut her neck with a piece of glass after she had a quarrel with her husband. When the woman saw the ambulance, she climbed the house’s roof, but then descended when the police and employees of the Emergencies Service arrived. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 651 calls, dealing with 55 cases of acute viral infection, 64 cases of trauma, six strokes, a heart attack and other emergencies.
