An old man died in his own house, intoxicated with combustion products following a fire. According to the Department of Exceptional situations, the fire took place in a house in the village of Caracusenii Vechi, Briceni. The cause of the fire was the negligence regarding fire regulations. At the moment of the arrival of firemen, the owner of the house, aged 79, was deceased. Because of the same reason, another fire burned down part of a living estate in the village of Sirauti, Briceni. The firemen managed to save the owner, aged 49, and to localize the fire. In the last 24 hours, 8 fires were registered in the R. Moldova, in which one person lost his life. From the beginning of the year, fires took 172 lives, including 11 children.
