Odessa-based sanatorium “Moldova” returned to Moldova
The sanatorium “Moldova” that is based in Ukraine’s Odessa was returned to Moldova under a decision by the Economic Board of the Supreme Court of Justice. The court ordered terminating the sale-purchase contract signed in 2008, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Under a Government Decision of 2008, the Odessa-based sanatorium “Moldova” that is owned by Moldova was included in the list of property that can by privatized by commercial contest. The winner of the contest became ICS Sdy-Invest Grup SRL. The company was to pay 73 million lei for the sanatorium in installments.
As the buyer did not make overdue payments of 36.6 million lei, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a lawsuit so that the sanatorium was transferred back to Moldova.
The Supreme Court of Justice’s decision is irrevocable.
