October 20 is a working day for budget-funded employees. This is the last day on which the budget-funded employees work instead of the nine-day mini-vacation they had at end-August, IPN reports.
On the occasion of the Independence Day and Our Language Day, the Government declared August 28, 29 and 30 nonworking days and September 8 and 29 and October 20 working days instead of these.
The salary earners who weren’t in labor relations on the day considered nonworking day or were on leave this day do not have to go to work on the Saturdays considered working days.
