“I voted for the city of Chisinau to become open to the people with initiative and with respect for themselves,” said Oazu Nantoi, the candidate for mayoralty of the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Platform of Moldova - Iurie Leanca”, immediately after going out of the polling place, IPN reports.

Oazu Nantoi stated that Chisinau must become a place inspiring optimism for the whole country, which can no longer cope with the multiple crises.

After casting his ballot, the candidate, together with his wife, went to the airdrome in Vadul lui Voda town to make a parachute jump. Afterward, he will return to Chisinau, where he will meet with colleagues from the platform to follow the elections, especially the situation in the capital city.
