A case of illegal felling of three oak trees was discovered during Thursday's raids carried out to combat illegal logging and poaching by environmental inspectors at the Mandresti Forest District, IPN reports.
The environmental inspectors drew up the necessary documents and remitted the materials regarding these violations to the relevant authorities for further investigations and taking of legal measures.
The Inspectorate of Environmental Protection said that it will continue to monitor forest areas and take firm action against those that disrupt the natural balance.
