Numerous multiple voting cases detected in Romania

The Romanian Ministry of Administration and Interior reported a high level of multiple voting, or 'electoral tourism', as hundreds of persons were arrested in the first two hours of the presidential election on Sunday, Info-Prim Neo's correspondent in Bucharest reports. According to the Ministry, people on three minibuses were arrested in the vicinity of the Bucharest Northern Station on suspicion of electoral tourism. In Strejeni, a community in Olt county, hundreds of cars brought voters to the polling stations, which is said to be unusual for this community. The police investigate the case. In the same county, some 200 persons are interrogated by the law enforcement bodies on suspicion of electoral frauds.
