Number of vehicles on interurban bus routes increased

The number of units of transport on some interurban bus routes was raised. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, director general of the state-run company Motor Stations and Terminals Oleg Platonov said that the number of passengers increases during the Easter holidays. As on Easter, they decided to increase the number of vehicles running on routes on Low Sunday. The drivers said they only arrive in the terminals and the people occupy all the seats in the buses. If the situation was like that every day, they would be very satisfied. Some of the passengers bought tickets beforehand so as to have a seat. Others are ready to stay on foot only to get home. The number of units of transport on over 300 bus routes was increased on Easter. The passengers grew by about 7,000 in number.
