The number of those who drink alcoholic beverage in public places increased after the authorities decided that the recreation places will not work after 10pm, Tudor Borș, division head at the Chisinau Police Division, said in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, being quoted by IPN.

He noted that together with this ban, the number of violations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages in trading units also rose and such violations repeat.

Last week the Chisinau police dealt with 93 cases of non-observance of the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Two legal entities were among those involved.
