The number of persons who gathered in front of the Palace of the Republic, where the MPs are examining the no confidence motion against the Government, increased to about 1,000, according to the police. The people demand reanimating the Alliance for European Integration and keeping the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports. Among those who came to express their support to the Government are teachers, students, farmers, and combatants from all over the country. They said that Moldova made constant progress on the path to European integration during three years, but now the dreams of being accepted into the European Union and of having a prosperous future are fading away. The people said the political crisis should be solved. Otherwise, the Communists will again take control of Moldova. While giving speeches in Parliament, Liberal Mihai Ghimpu and Socialist Igor Dodon accused Vlad Filat of calling the people to the Palace of the Republic to support him. The censure motion was put forward by the Communist faction. The Liberal and Liberal-Democratic MPs said they will not support the motion, while the Democrats, the Socialists, and unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea intend to vote in favor of it.
