The mobile medical units working in Chisinau deal with an increasing number of requests. The number of persons who asked for help at these units last week rose by about 100 persons on a week before. Health Division head Luminita Suveica Monday said that there were recorded about 6 000 appeals for help. In most of the cases, the patients were elderly persons who suffer from hypertension. The 15 street medical units will work until the end of summer. Vladimir Nirca, head of the Trade, Public Food and Services Division, said no violation as regards the conditions of selling food products was identified last week. There are over 1 000 kiosks, stalls and food stores selling soft drinks and ice-cream in the municipality of Chisinau.
