The number of persons out of work at the end of November reached over 22,000, an increase of about 6,000 people compared with the beginning of the month, IPN reports.
According to the reports of the National Employment Agency, more than 1,000 jobless persons were placed in November. Since the start of this year, about 2,000 people out of work have received unemployment benefit, while another about 2,000 have benefited from professional integration or reintegration allowance. Over 2,500 persons graduated from professional formation courses by end-November.
The state spent over 30 million lei on paying unemployment benefits, more than 13 million lei on staging professional formation courses, over 4.8 million lei on stimulating engagement in public works and more than 6 million lei on paying professional integration or reintegration allowances.
The National Employment Agency said there were over 7,000 vaccines at the end of November. Almost 6,000 places were intended for persons with secondary education. The average unemployment benefit is about 1,200 lei.
