The persons diagnosed with COVID-19 rose to 4,052. Seventy-two new infections were confirmed on May 2, out of tested 371 samples, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
Twenty-two cases of infection were recorded in Chisinau, by seven in Cahul, Glodeni and the Transnistrian region. The infections on the left side of the Nistru now reached 467.
Of the total infections diagnosed on May 2, 13 involve healthcare workers, three of whom work at the Bălți Municipal Clinical Hospital.
As many as 1,334 persons were cured, while 124 succumbed to COVID-19.
