As many as 32,000 passengers traveled by Air Moldova flights in November, an increase of 19% compared with the corresponding period last year, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the airline. The number of passengers on the Chisinau-Bucharest flight in the period rose by 46%, the Chisinau-Rome flight – by 31%, the Chisinau-Moscow flight – by 23%, the Chisinau-Istanbul flight – by 18%, the Chisinau-London flight – by 17%, the Chisinau-Milan flight – by 9%. The volume of freight and mail in November was 82 tonnes, up 24% compared with November 2009. Currently, Air Moldova operates 17 direct flights. In November, the airline started to provide charter flights from Chisinau to Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) and back.
