Parliament will have nine permanent commissions, which is by one fewer than in the previous legislature. In the last sitting of the Parliament’s extraordinary session, the MPs also agreed the composition of the commissions. The Socialist and Liberal MPs expressed their dissatisfaction, accusing the Lib-Dems, the Democrats and the Communists of not obeying the principle of proportionality, IPN reports.
The legal commission on appointments and immunities will be headed by Democratic MP Raisa Apolschi. Its deputy heads are Tudor Deliu (PLDM) and Anatolie Zagorodnyi (PCRM), while its secretary is Alla Dolinta (PSRM). The other members are: Angel Agache and Anatolie Dimitriu (PLDM), Vladimir Plahotniuc and Sergiu Sarbu (PDM), Igor Vremea (PCRM), Vasile Bolea (PSRM), and Valeriu Munteanu (PL).
Liberal-Democratic MP Stefan Creanga will head the commission on economy, budget and finance. Pavel Filip (PDM) and Oleg Reidman (PCRM) will serve as deputy heads, while Vladimir Golovatiuc (PSRM) as secretary. The other members are: Iurie Leanca, Chiril Lucinschi and Gheorghe Mocanu (PLDM), Valentina Buliga and Vasile Botnari (PDM), Alexandr Bannicov (PCRM), Igor Dodon and Zinaida Greceanyi (PSRM), and Iurie Chirinciuc (PL).
The commission on national security, defense and public order will be managed by Veaceslav Untila of the Liberal faction. It will have one deputy head – Ghenadie Mitriuc (PSRM). The secretary is Victor Rosca (PLDM). The other members are: Eugen Carpov and Vlad Filat (PLDM), Monica Babuc and Constantin Botnari (PDM), Artur Reshetnikov and Anatolie Gorila (PCRM), and Anatolie Labunet (PSRM).
The commission on foreign policy and European integration will be headed by Igor Corman (PDM), while Sergiu Stati (PCRM) will act as deputy head. Natalia Gherman (PLDM) was named its secretary. The commission also includes Valeriu Strelet (PLDM), Marian Lupu (PDM), Violeta Ivanov (PCRM), Andrei Neguta, Alexandru Nesterovski and Bogdat Tardea (PSRM), Mihai Ghimpu and Ion Apostol (PL).
Socialist lawmaker Vladimir Turcan will head the commission on human rights and international relations, while Liberal lawmaker Mihai Moldovanu will act as deputy head. Its secretary is Nicolai Dudoglo (PDM), while the other members include Mihaela Spataru and Valeriu Ghiletski (PLDM), Maria Postoico and Galina Balmos (PCRM), Fiodor Gagauz, Eduard Smirnov and Grigore Novac (PSRM), and unaffiliated MP Irina Vlah.
The commission on public administration, regional development, environment and climate change was formed by merging two commissions. It will be headed by Elena Bodnarenco (PCRM), while Iurie Tap (PLDM) and Victor Sorocean (PSRM) will serve as deputy heads. Marcel Raducan (PDM) will act as secretary. The ordinary members are: Grigore Cobzac (PLDM), Vasile Batca (PDM), Vladimir Voronin (PCRM), Anatolie Salaru and Iurie Darda (PL), Oleg Lipschii and Vlad Batrancea (PSRM).
The commission on culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media will be managed by the Liberal-Democratic MP Vladimir Hotineanu. Ion Ceban (PSRM) was named as deputy head, while Corneliu Mihalache (PCRM) as secretary. Among the other members are: Maia Sandu and Liliana Palihovici (PLDM), Dumitru Diacov and Constantin Tutu (PDM), Ion Tomai (PCRM), Marina Radvan (PSRM), and Corina Fusu (PL).
Socialist MP Radu Mudreac was appointed as head of the commission on agriculture and food industry, Liberal MP Veronica Herta as deputy head, while Communist lawmaker Petru Porcescu as secretary. The ordinary members are: Oleg Balan and Nicolae Juravschi (PLDM), Demian Caraseni and Oleg Sarbu (PDM), Victor Mandru and Vladimir Vitiuc (PCRM), Corneliu Furculita and Oleg Savva (PSRM), and Dorin Chirtoaca (PL).
The commission on social protection, health and family will be led by Communist MP Oxana Domenti. Vadim Pistrinciuc (PLDM) and Valentina Stratan (PDM) were named as deputy heads, while Gheorghe Brega (PL) as secretary. Among the other members are: Grigore Belostecinic (PLDM), Boris Golovin and Vasile Panciuc (PCRM), Lilian Carp (PL), Lidia Lupu, Elena Hrenova and Vladimir Odnostalco (PSRM).
The commissions include persons who already announced that they renounce the seat of MP, but they were included because the procedure for vacating the seats hasn’t been yet completed. When their place is taken by substitute candidates, the composition of the commissions will be modified.
