NUC: Union with Romania is only chance for Moldova to swiftly integrate into UE

The National Union Council (NUC) considers the union with Romania is the only chance for the Republic of Moldova to swiftly integrate into the European Union. The issue was developed in a news conference entitled “National Union Council’s projects and juridical integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union”, which was hosted by IPN.

The Union’s chairman Alexandru Arseni said that he wanted to transmit this message from the rostrum, before the people who came to the European Moldova Assembly of May 21 and made all the approaches to this effect, but wasn’t heard. “We haven’t received any response, but with the responsibility and dignity typical of the Romanian nation, we went to the rally. We had with us the text of the document that we were to propose after the speech,” stated Alexandru Arseni. He then read the text of the Declaration of Juridical Reunion of the Republic of Moldova with Romania within the National Undivided State Romania” and the included demands.

“We call on all the states and governments of the world to recognize the reunion of the Republic of Moldova with Romania into a national, single and undividable state Romania; on the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe – to recognize the reunion of the Republic of Moldova with Romania as an act for remedying the consequences of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact for Romania; on the heads of state and government that will come to the EPC Summit of June 1, 2023 – to recognize the reunion of the Republic of Moldova with Romania into a national, single and undividable state Romania,” said Alexandru Arseni, reading the declaration that was to be presented at the European Moldova Assembly of May 21.

Gheorghe Viță, first deputy chairman of the NUC, welcomed the encouraging messages disseminated by President Maia Sandu, about the achievement of the European integration objective until 2030, but noted that the time limit is not realistic. “Tell us dear government, are you sure that the Republic of Moldova’s course in 2030 will be the same as today? I doubt it. Let it be so. If so, are you sure that all the EU member states will vote for the Republic of Moldova’s accession to the European Union? I don’t think the economic situation will improve so much until 2030 that we will be able to fulfill all the EU accession criteria. I therefore tell you that we have the shortest road, given by God, for joining the EU through Romania and together with Romania to become a NATO member and be protected from the invasion of the empire of evil,” stated Gheorghe Viță.

He called on all the unionists, people of good faith and the political parties of the Republic of Moldova to go and persuade the hesitating people that joining the EU with Romania and through Romania is the only chance for the Republic of Moldova to get rid of poverty, corruption, bandits, Shor, the Socialists.
