NPC to analyze Government's progress

The National Participatory Council (NPC) starts working on an analysis of the implementation of the Government Plan and its objectives, reports Info-Prim Neo. “We, just like you, ask ourselves if what the people’s elects have done has facilitated a governance that is closer to the people, more transparent, more efficient, which would stop the previous abuses, which would strengthen the rule of law, correct the mistakes that the previous government has made, introduce more social justice, and offer a hope and direction of evolution towards the entire society’s long-lasting development”, the NCP said in a communiqué. NCP experts are to periodically present the chapters analyzed and the conclusions drawn. Among the priorities established by the Government are: European integration, the re-integration of the country, efficient and balanced foreign policy, combat poverty, quality public services, durable economic growth, and de-centralization of power. The NPC aims at developing and promoting the strategic partnership between public authorities, civil society and the private sector towards the strengthening of participatory democracy in Moldova.
