A number of settlements in the districts of Edinet, Ocnita, Briceni and Falesti remained without power following the heavy rain and high winds of this morning, June 19, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the supply of electricity is not working in 19 settlements. Two trees downed by the wind damaged two gas pipes and seven private homes in Edinet town were disconnected from the gas supply.

Intervention teams are working on the spot.
