Normative documents on constructions available online

The economic entities, experts in constructions and other persons who want to start a business or to build a house can easier find the database on normative documents owing to the new electronic service “normative e-documents in constructions”. The new service is available on the website www.ednc.gov.md and was launched by the e-Government Center in partnership with the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction. The site already contains about 300 normative documents. All the over 1,000 normative documents existing in the construction sector will be accessible on the website in several months, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a news conference on January 10, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction Anatolie Zolotkov said that this site can be used by the over 7,000 architects of Moldova, the over 4,000 firms licensed in the field, and by the 900 local public authorities. Iurie Socol, head of the Ministry’s Technical-Economic Regulations Division, said all the construction companies and the local public authorities must have access to the norms in constructions so that the worked out and approved projects do not run counter to the legislation and the security norms in the field. Thus, the existence of such a database that will be permanently updated is very important. According to the director of the e-Government Center Stela Mocan, the access to public services of a high quality will increase. “Technology simplifies interaction between people and the authorities. Until 2020, the Government aims to digitize all the services provided for the people,” she stated. The new service provides a simple search system; the people have access to online discussions and public debates on the norms in constructions and can access copyright documents in electronic or traditional format.
