The inhabitants of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia will not work on October 18, when the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay a visit to the region. An order to this effect was signed by the Bashkan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah, IPN reports.

According to Gagauzinfo.md, the order applies to the employees of state and budget-funded institutions. A series of restrictions were imposed in connection with the Turkish President’s visit. The center of Comrat town will be inaccessible to transport. The markets will not work and the public transport will run on modified routes.

The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be in Moldova on a visit during October 17 and 18. He will have meetings with President Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
