Non-profit health and social care centre for disabled children will be established in Chisinau

A non-profit health and social care centre which will provide physical recovery services to children with chronic illnesses and locomotor disabilities will be opened in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo learned from the City Hall’s PR department. The centre will be established with sponsorship provided by the Embassy of the United States and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Chisinau. The City Hall will just need to allot a suitable land plot for the purpose. During a meeting with UK Ambassador to Moldova John Beyer, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca proposed to establish the centre on the territory of the hospital for children no.1, with the consent of the institution. The proposed site has direct access to the main street and will be equipped with a playground and benches for rest. The new centre will work in close cooperation with the specialists of the hospital and with family physicians working in the area.
