Non-household consumers with increased gas consumption will enjoy a 100% discount on the difference between old and new gas rates for the January-March bills, but no more than 1.5 million lei per consumer, the National Commission for Emergency decided.

This does not include the compensation already offered for the first 500 cubic meters per month.

Beneficiaries run the gamut from farms, to mills, to light industry manufacturers, among others.

To benefit from the compensation, eligible consumers need to submit a formal application online at www.servicii.fisc.md, where a new section has been created specifically for this purpose.
