Non-discrimination reflected in new publication by Moldovan human rights advocate

The recent publication “Non-Discrimination in modern Constitutional Moldova” authored by Teodor Carnat addresses the theory and practice of eliminating various forms of discrimination at national level. The book has been recently launched in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the author, the executive director of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Moldova, the work is focused on the cases of discrimination based on age, sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, religion and disabilities. “I have emphasized upon the main problems such as the belated organization of the constitutional state, infringement of the principle of separation of powers in the state, human rights violations and inequality, and argued on the importance of the establishment and protection of human rights by the state”, the author explained. “Non-Discrimination in modern Constitutional Moldova” comprises 4 chapters containing broad explanations, conclusions and recommendations as well as an eclectic bibliography.
