Moldova’s foreign partners will provide support to the country, but will attentively monitor the Government’s results, candidate for premiership Pavel Filip said after a meeting with the development partner. The nominee noted he aims to restore the foreign partners’ confidence in the Government of Moldova, IPN reports.

He said he spoke a lot about the government program, its key priorities with the foreign partners. “The priorities cover the economic, financial and banking sectors where particular measures were taken, but these must be brought to an end. They refer to the real struggle against corruption, the energy security and the interconnection to the EU’s networks, which is interconnection with Romania, as well as the justice sector reform and depoliticization of the rule of law institutions. We must not allow interference in the work of the regulators and the National Bank” stated Pavel Filip.
