No persons with symptoms associated with coronavirus entered Moldova, minister

No persons with symptoms associated with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) entered Moldova during the last 24 hours, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu was quoted by IPN as saying.

According to the data presented by the Border Police, 436 persons came from Italy by direct flights from Turin, Milan and Rome. Each person is asked to fill out an epidemiological inquiry form where personal data is indicated so that they could be monitored by the family doctor at home.

“In this connection, I call on the citizens of the Republic of Moldova who come from countries where cases of infection with the novel coronavirus were reported to cooperate with the border police personnel and to complete these forms, to relate the history of trips and to undergo the required checks. This way, we protect ourselves and those around,” stated the minister.
