The apartment buildings will start to be supplied with heat in an individual way. No order to start the heating season all over Chisinau will be made this year. Vadim Branzaniuc, head of the Chisinau City Hall’s Public Relations Division, has told IPN that acting mayor Nistor Grozavu signed an order to allow heating the kindergartens, education institutions, hospitals and housing sector, at the request of dwellers, on October 9.

An increasing number of inhabitants of Chisinau complain that they are cold in apartments and wonder when the local authorities will start the heating season. Vadim Branzaniuc said these dwellers should file an application to the housing sector managers and ask that their buildings be supplied with heat in a centralized way. For their part, the block managers should make a request to the local office of the heat supplier.

Earlier, the heating season for the housing sector in Chisinau was opened by an order signed by the mayor general in mid-October. But the heating of apartment buildings could start earlier, at the request of dwellers.
