No one placed bids to buy the municipal radio and TV stations “Antena C” and “Euro TV Chisinau”, as the deadline of the auction will expire in 5 days, head of the City Hall Legal Department Ghenadie Guscenco told Info-Prim Neo. According to the source, only 4 or 5 persons solicited the tender books and several asked about the terms of the auction, but no application was submitted to date. The offers for the participation in the contest can be submitted till January 15. The CMC decided via the votes of the Communist and Christian-Democrat councillors on December 14 to organise an investment contest in order to sell the two stations. This decision displeased the staffs of the stations, the civil society and several political parties. 37 employees of the two stations initiated proceedings against the Chisinau Municipal Council and the interim mayor, requested to urgently suspend the procedure of selling the two institutions and annul the precursory normative documents. The first sitting on the examination of the request will take place on January 23.
