No negotiations in format „5+2” will held on 4-5 April
The negotiation round in format „5+2” regarding regulation of Transnistrian conflict, foreseen for 4-5 April 2006, will not take place, as the parts did not find any agreement on its organization, William Hill, the head of OSCE Mission in Moldova announced about this on Thursday, 30 March.
He said that there was a previous agreement regarding organization of negotiations on this period, during the negotiations on 27-28 February, but because of interruption of negotiations it was not got to any agreement. According to Hill, OSCE Mission undertook many actions in March for organizing the negotiation round on 4-5 April, but because of political situation there is no agreement of parts for organizing this negotiation round.
The ambassador mentioned that OSCE Mission will continue its activity on setting a date fro organizing negotiations and hopes that they will take place very soon.
Hill underlined that this situation is not about a blocking of negotiations, these are postponed for a later period.
At last negotiations round held in Chisinau and Tiraspol on 27-28 February it was not managed to conclude this meeting with a joint protocol. The Moldovan part left then the negotiations, motivating this through intransigent position of Tiraspol, and especially regarding the issued of village Dorotcaia.
