No more matches for Moldova in Tiraspol
Moldovan Football Federation president Pavel Ciobanu decided that all the official matches of the national team will be played only in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Earlier, it was decided that the Tiraspol-based Sheriff Arena would host several home matches in the 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign, but head coach Igor Dobrovolski asked the Federation to reconsider after a disappointing outcome and very low stadium turnout on Saturday against Latvia in Tiraspol.
At a news conference ahead on the second qualifier against Israel, Dobrovolski said the squad would play offensively. “I reassert that the goal of the squad in each match is to win”.
