No legal action based on Maia Sandu’s complaint about Russian loan

The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office examined the complaint about the Russian loan filed by the president of the Action and Solidarity Party Maia Sandu and didn’t ascertain elements of an offense, IPN reports.

“As no elements of an offense were identified, it was decided not to take legal action. The complaint’s author was informed about the taken decision, being told about the way and period for challenging the decision,” the Prosecutor General’s Office has said.

PAS president Maia Sandu asked to hold accountable all those who negotiated and organized the signing of the lending agreement with the Russian Federation, which was declared unconstitutional on May 7.
