No-confidence motion and state of emergency on Parliament’s agenda

The MPs on Thursday will examine the Government's request to declare the state of emergency and also the no-confidence motion proposed by the group of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. The legislature’s Standing Bureau supplemented the agenda of the plenary sittings of December 12-13, IPN reports.

Also today, the Parliament will hear the responsible authorities’ reports on the electoral frauds reported during the presidential election and the constitutional referendum.

Three bills on the harmonization of the national legislation with the EU legislation were added to the agenda. These refer to the sole shareholder, the procedure for the detention of foreigners, the policy of the aquaculture sector and the organization of the market for fishery and aquaculture products.

Also, the MPs will debate changes to the fiscal and customs policy, the ratification of the €12 million grant from the European Union for the repair of the railway corridor Vălcineț-Ocnița-Bălți-Ungheni-Chișinău-Căinari, the increase of the monthly state allowance for victims of political repression, and the draft law on the Constitutional Court.

The plenary sitting starts at 11:00 a.m.
