The Chisinau district electoral council was empty on April 19. The council's secretary Victor Pertu has told Info-Prim Neo that no political party or candidate for mayor submitted Tuesday documents for being registered as runners. Eight candidates for mayor were registered on the first day, on April 18. The order in which they will be written in ballots was decided by draw. The list is headed by the candidate of the PSD Sergiu Coropceanu. He is followed by the PLDM's candidate Victor Bodiu, the PPCD's candidate Radu Busila, Valentin Krylov, of the Party of Socialists “Patria Rodina”, and Oleg Onishchenko, of the “Our Home Moldova” Party. The candidate of the PCRM Igor Dodon will be the sixth. Valery Climenco, of the Movement “Ravnopravie”, and Vitalia Pavlichenko, of the PNL, will be under number seven and, respectively, eight. Seven parties lodged the lists of candidates for seats on the Chisinau Municipal Council. These are: the PCRM, the PL, the PLDM, the PPCD, the PNL, “Ravnopravie” and “Our Home Moldova”. The applications can be filed by May 5.
