The bomb squad didn’t identify explosive devices at the head office of Victoriabank located on 31 august St in Chisinau.
Update. The report about the bomb scare at the head office of the Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR), situated on Pushkin St, turned out to be false. The information was confirmed for IPN by Natalia Stati, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division.
The call to the police was made close to 3pm on January 29. A man said the two banks were mined. The personnel and clients of the banks were evacuated immediately. The caller faces a maximum fine of 10,000 lei or a maximum jail term of two years.
