A girl aged 9 was seriously injured in a road accident in central Chisinau on May 14 in the evening. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the girl, who lives near Luceafarul Theater, was struck violently by a Citroen with Ialoveni license number at the intersection of the streets Vasile Alecsandri and Veronica Micle. The girl suffered an open cranial-cerebral trauma, a facture of the skull base, contusion of the internal organs and second-degree coma. The child was rushed to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital. A woman aged 25 and her seven-month child were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a road accident. They hit their heads on the wind screen when the car in which they were traveling collided with another car. The accident happened at the intersection of Igor Vieru St and Mircea cel Batran Blvd. The child received no injuries, while the woman suffered a concussion. After leaving the child in the car of the relatives, the woman was hospitalized. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 76 cases of trauma.
