Nine teams will dispute the Intel Cup
Nine finalist teams of the will fight on Sunday, June 22, for the Intel Cup, organized by the Moldovan Club of Intellectual Games. To win the Cup, the contesters will have to answer a variety of challenging questions. The quiz rounds will be interspersed with jazz and classical music performances, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The final was preceded by qualifying rounds on May 18, held in the National History Museum and bringing together 18 teams.
The Moldova Club of Intellectual Games is a non-profit organisation founded to promote activities combining knowledge and entertainment, to organize and encourage mind sports meant to cultivate erudition, creativity and team spirit. Among the events organized by the Club are the “What?Where?When?” Championship, the Lyceums’ Cup, the Inter-University Brain Ring Cup, the Intellectual Game Summer Camp, mind marathons, and open cups, as the Intel Cup is.
The Club also runs a quiz show called “Erudit Cafe” on the national television Moldova 1.
