A young man, still unidentified, died last night in a severe car crash in Chisinau. The coordinating doctor of the Ambulance Service from the capital, Anatol Proca, has told Info-Prim Neo the crash occurred at about 4.20, at the circle on Renasterii ave. The driver of a Skoda lost his control over the steering wheel and hit a pillar. His 25-year-old passenger died at once. The driver was injured. A 43-year-old man drowned in the pool of Sun-City Commercial Center in the capital. He is believed to have had a brain stroke after he entered the cold water from the sauna. Two girls aged 16 and 17 poisoned themselves with mushrooms sent from Italy and were admitted for detox. The last day and night the Ambulance Service recorded 642 phone calls.
