Romanian folk singer Nicu Alifantis will give a concert at the National Opera House in Chisinau on April 15, together with the band Zan, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I returned to Chisinau after a period of six years. I have nice memories of the last concert. I met a very warm public,” Nicu Alifantis told a news conference in Chisinau. The singer said that this concert is a special one because this year it is 15 years since the establishment of cooperation relations with the band Zan. Nicu Alifantis stated that it’s wonderful when the people love you and appreciate you. He said he is curious to know how many people will come to the performance. The concert is organized at the suggestion of Virgil Margineanu, director of the OWH Studio, and Valeria Sheican, director general of the National Opera House. Nicu Alifantis will be in Chisinau until April 16, but assured he will return in the near future with his wife. After the concert, the artist, together with the organizers, will pay a visit to the Cricova cellars. Nicu Alifantis was born in Braila, Romania. He made his debut as a singer in 1973. The concert at the National Opera House starts at 7pm.
